Yay! I got the job... first orientation day was today, and for the forseeable future my work-life is going to be filled with discussions about things like casualty collection units, emergency supply stockpiling, and smallpox. It probably says something terrible about me that this all makes me feel rather cheery, doesn't it?
To celebrate I went out and bought new shoes. I stand by the fact that, in the face of potential mass epidemics, shoes still matter.
